Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI)

What is Client Directed Home Care Invoicing? 

CDHCI is a direct billing service to Alberta Blue Cross. We submit invoices for your care services directly to Alberta Blue Cross on your behalf.

This means you don’t have to manage receipts, paperwork, or claim submissions. Our team handles the entire invoicing process from start to finish.

We ensure all services are billed accurately, submitted promptly, and aligned with your approved funding—making the process simple, seamless, and stress-free for you.

Eligibility Requirements 

To qualify for Client-Directed Home Care Invoicing, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a permanent resident of Alberta
  • Complete and pass an Alberta Health Services assessment for home care services
  • Demonstrate ability to manage care plans and provider relationships independently
  • Be willing and capable of handling invoice management and reimbursement processes
  • Meet specific care requirements as determined by the assessment

Rates & Funding

Our services are billed through Alberta Blue Cross in accordance with CDHCI funding guidelines.

The current approved funding rate covers the majority of our services, so only a small client portion applies. 

We are always transparent about any out-of-pocket costs and will discuss this with you in advance—there are no surprises.
